Yin and Yang in Action

The overjoyed young girl in the foreground is my granddaughter Tay. The sour faced curmudgeon in the background is a friend of Tay's great grandmother.
---------------
We're leaving on a two week roadie this Friday. We'll be hitting parts of four states (California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada). We have a lot to do, but I hope to return with some decent photos to post.  I don't know when I'll have Internet access, so I'll post and comment when I can. It seems like every time I say that, I have no trouble getting on-line almost everywhere. So, "Until that time, Eustis, until that time." *

*Anybody know who said that?  How about who they said it to?  Movie name?  If you know the answer to all three questions, you will receive absolutely nothing except my undying respect.

  24. "Eustis"? You'd think I'd remember a name like that... Perhaps I've not seen it...

I'd still like your respect, though. Or a beer. Maybe something off the dollar menu?

    No?

    Dammit.

:-) Happy Friday, Pat. And happy travels.

  31. Sergeant Maxwell Slaughter (Jackie Gleason) when addressing a young Steve McQueen as Sergeant Eustis Clay. Soldier in the Rain. Do I get undying respect for being an excellent researcher? At least I DO know who the two actors are, and THAT is already something for this name-memory-moron. LOL!

Your next road trip is one I could envy, if I knew that emotion. Last went that way in 1985 (a sort of honeymoon), and Utah is definitely one place I've always wanted to get back to. Gorgeous country. I remember the last batch of photos from there you posted... Bring back more and ENJOY!

  33. John - Only one pic so far...It's coming tomorrow. Thanks John! I'll be by soon.

Chuck - I think I have that movie on DVD. If so, I'll send it to you. It's an awesome movie. Tuesday Weld is the female lead. We are having fun. This is a different roadie, but still great. Lot's of backroads time. I hope it's cooling off where you are now.

Stickup Artist - Thanks! It's been fun and interesting so far. There are a lot of folks who RV full time and many of them have great stories to tell. I have some internet time right now, so maybe I'll be by...

Shrinky - Thanks! She's 8 now and my good buddy. I wish she was with us on our trip.

Pam - My pleasure Pam! You are welcome, I'd follow you anywhere!

Francisca - I was gonna say, You are good! You already have my respect as both a human, photographer and world travler...

Sharon - Thanks Sharon! We're already having fun.

Arlee - We're about a third of the way through and it's been great so far.

Anthony - Thanks! I call 'em how I see 'em.

I'm envious of your travels; finishing nursing school will allow me some travelling now, one of the things I most missed (that and sleep, time with my kids, money, etc.)

  37. I find I can rarely get on line when we travel. Usually we are in National Park or Forest campgrounds and even when we go to private campgrounds that say they have wifi it doesn't seem to reach our site.
