These are absolutely spectacular! They remind me of my younger days when I used to go "Ghost Hunting" with a group of fellow weirdos. We stumbled upon this old abandoned house way out in the country with thousands upon thousands of doll parts scattered EVERYwhere. Was a very strange little location, forever dubbed "The Doll Parts House."
Pat, you know I loved these photos from your other blog. Their contrast, and the artful way you posed these dolls together, gives the photos a special haunting quality that lingers in the mind for a very long time. Awesome!
Reflections of an interesting mind, Pat... These could be the remains of the few dolls silly people who didn't know better gave me as a child... I was just never into them at all. But they make cool photos... or rather, you made cool photos out of them...:-D
I saw these pictures when you sent them to me, they are super freaky!
ReplyDeleteCD

I don't know why these doll thingies are so creepy, but they are, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween, it is one of my favorite holidays.
Oh Pat, if my son sees these creepy dolls, he will not enjoy Halloween anymore :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW--Your Arizona road trip photos are just beautiful and amazing!
Very creepy, the second photo is especially haunting. Halloween is my favorite holiday.
ReplyDeleteJar full of doll heads. That is not freaking me out at all. Gah!
ReplyDeleteErika - This time of year, creepiness is good! It's good most times of the year...
ReplyDeleteNevine - Thanks Nevine! Yep, you are one of the few followers on my "horror" blog. It's still lying fallow...
Joe - They are creepy! Many of them are antiques and probably not worth nearly as much money as when they were attached to their bodies!
Icy BC - I should have had a blog warning! Thanks! Parts of AZ are amazing...
SQ - Mine also! Which is odd, because I'm not that fond of children. Yes, we have 5 of them, and various grand children...LOL
Kal - You are close, my friend! But it's not a jar...I'll reveal the "vessel" in due time.
Creepy stuff and perfect for those who freak out about dolls coming to life and killing you with a knife...or something, just saying...
ReplyDeleteChuck - I worry about it every day. Also the voices that live in running water...
ReplyDeleteReflections of an interesting mind, Pat... These could be the remains of the few dolls silly people who didn't know better gave me as a child... I was just never into them at all. But they make cool photos... or rather, you made cool photos out of them...:-D
ReplyDeleteFrancisca - Yup, just a little bit creepy...Thanks!
