I absolutely love this series of photographs but there is something so heartbreakingly sad about them to me. I find myself wondering what they were before this... How they came to be as such... Were they once loved...

Rabbit - Thanks so much! I know a lot of them are antiques, The headless bodies are in a box somewhere at a friends house. I wish I could get my hands on them... I agree, they are kind of sad. But mostly creepy. I put dolls, clowns, and mimes all in the same bag...spooky!

You know those realistic dolls that people have 'birthing' ceremonies for? Those things freak me out. Then collect just their heads in a glass vase - double freak out.
These pictures really freak me out ... but I suppose that's the reaction you're looking for?? ha ha
