Dancing With The Scars - Post week 2

Truly, I don't know a fox trot, from a foxes arse. But I do know people.

Just like I predicted, the control freak (Kate Gosselin) showed her true colors this week! She criticized her teachers ability to teach! It got so bad that her partner quit!. Of course he came back, but he wasn't happy with her.  Not only that, but I'm totally on John Gosselin's side now. JOHN, AMERICA NOW FEELS YOUR PAIN!  Oh yeah, she really really sucks as a dancer.

Jake Pavelka hasn't cried yet. But if you saw "The Bachelor" at all, you know he cried every week. And you just know that biotch is gonna let fly with the tears, before this season is over.

Pamela Anderson was made up to look like Marilyn Monroe.  I was surprised that they did such a good job. She actually looked just like Marilyn, about 6 months after she died...

Shannen Doherty and Pamela Anderson have already been offered a one season gig with "Floozies on Ice."

Forget that stiff Buzz Aldrin, did you see his wife? The only parts of her face that moved were her eyeballs and her chin. When she spoke it looked like a mannequin. Is her goal to look like a freaking cat or what?

Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke will be in the gossip magazines by weeks end. Mark my word!  If he does get kicked off, the two of them will be in Barbados (or somewhere), before those magazines come out...

  2. Er... what? I don't think we have this show in the UK. But judging by your description, I hope we get it soon!:)

  3. I don't get to watch - so thanks for the run down. I heard a syndicated morning radio show laughing and arguing about it all this morning. I liked your synopsis and critique much better. One girl defended Kate all the way. Even though I might could in some universe understand what she was trying to say - please! Can she just be nice for 2 seconds???

  4. Thanks for the post-show wrap-up. I have to admit I couldn't take my eyes off Buzz's wife!

  5. I actually thought Kate Gosselin acted a lot more maturely than her drama queen partner! He was all "I teach TEACHERS to teach!" In her defense, if she wasn't learning through the means he was using, and he is as great a teacher as he boasts he is, he should have been able to change his approach enough to help her.

She is obviously a complete amateur, so he shouldn't expect her to be able to remember everything he says. Man, if I was in her shoes, I'd be the same way (I'm a terrible dancer).

Reality TV trimmed and cut to make people appear a certain way, and people are determined to see Kate as a bitch, no matter what she does. Why else would she be on the show if not for ratings? People love to hate!

    My two cent's worth. :)

  8. Pat, I don't watch this show, but I wait in anticipation for your review. Keep writing, ok? My mom DOES watch the show, and now I can converse with her as if I had real knowledge. She totally agrees with you, tho I had to explain to her who Kate was.. glad she missed that.

  9. I lawled pretty hard at the Marilyn line, too. Glad you're finding your inner bitch, Patrick.

  10. Oh Pat, thanks for this wonderfully hilarious update on Dancing with the Scars. Sounds like Kate's ego is even bigger than her uterus.
(I've got catching up to do in the blogosphere this week; will be reading your other posts. Got taken off track with family stuff.)
    Hugs,
    Robyn

  12. At least Cheryl is a step up for the usual skanks that Ochocinco sleeps with. Whow wouldn't want a piece of that?

Kate was as cringingly aweful as I hoped she would be and poor Buzz and his wife? Freakshow. Thats all I can say. Let him go now so we remember the hero he really was - not the stretched melon he is now.

I think we can all see why John left Kate - she is abusive and stupid and selfish and stomps like a horse when she dances. This is some pretty sweet Shaudenfreude. I am sad it will only last a few more weeks.

  14. I despise Kate Gosselin, but Johnny boy is just as bad, if not worse....

She's not quite the same Pamela Anderson she used to be, huh?

Pat, did you ever see Buzz Aldrin punch some guy in the face after the guy argued that the moon landing wasn't real? It was classic....

  17. I don't watch the show, but I may just have to use some of your lines around the water cooler each week so as to appear as if I'm in the know (and also sharp as a whip). Good stuff.

  18. I agree with what you said about Kate. Okay.. the instructor guy was a little harsh, but she still made it difficult to understand what she was trying to say lol

Some people can dance others cannot.. and not to be mean but she can't dance. She was looking at the instructor the entire performance and at one point forgot her entire move.

I didn't catch the name of the dancers I really liked.

Buzz had a nice sloww performance, but he is too old/slow in my opinion to get far.

  19. Thanks for the nice comments...
It just struck me that I'm flip flopping with one of these and then one of my childhood stories. Talk about from one end of the spectrum to the other!
