I love the way the sky turns orange when the sun sinks into the Pacific. It almost looks like the pelican is going to fly into the last bit of the sun. It's a beautiful shot.
Joe and Betty - thanks! I had to sit there for quite a while. Almost all the pelicans had gone back to where ever they go at night. I wonder, do pelicans roost? like chickens or crows? Time to google!
