I love "birds in flight" photos! When we were down in Florida in Dec. I took a bunch of the pelicans. We will be returning there in April, and I can't wait to take more bird photos there.Great shot!

Pat--I relive this poem from my Grandfather every time I see a Pelican.I always thought it was sooo neat because it had almost a dirty word in it:A wonderful bird is the Pelcan,His beak can hold more than his belly can,He can hold in his beak,enough food for a week,and I don't see how in the Hellican!Grandfathers are so cool!
