I love "birds in flight" photos! When we were down in Florida in Dec. I took a bunch of the pelicans. We will be returning there in April, and I can't wait to take more bird photos there. Great shot!
I relive this poem from my Grandfather every time I see a Pelican.
I always thought it was sooo neat because it had almost a dirty word in it:
A wonderful bird is the Pelcan, His beak can hold more than his belly can, He can hold in his beak, enough food for a week, and I don't see how in the Hellican!

faye - I was standing on the edge of a cliff. It's a great spot.
