I have simply run out of time to do everything I want. To free some time up, I’m going to make some changes. I’m going to combine my “regular” blog and my photography blog into one.
I may lose some folks, from both blogs by doing this, but I think it will work for a few reasons.
1. I tend to post long entries on my regular blog. We all know how those can wear you out, trying to keep up. By posting some photos here also, it will give the readers and me a break.
2. Some folks follow both of the blogs anyway.
3. I’m still going to post the same number of photos, but they will just be spread out a bit. There will be some posted that some of you have already seen at the other site (sorry about that). So feel free to ignore them. Most followers/readers here haven't seen the photos at all.
thanks!
So hard for me to keep up one blog, how you keeping up two?

Right on. It'll take plenty of getting used to (for e at least), but understandable, and everyone like's a good picture.
ReplyDeleteThough my two cents?
I like the picture of the crying kiddie better ;)
YAY! Great call, Pat. I'm excited to get a nice dose of your many talents in one blog. I didn't know I was missing out on this great photography.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
Ally - Truly, I don't know! I even have another one for ficton that I hope to have off and running in the not too distant future.
ReplyDeleteSN - LOL...(she wasn't really crying in the other one).
Robyn - Thanks! hope you like 'em...
Completely understandable. I've tried managing 3 blogs and I'm trying to figure out how to best roll two of them together.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of both your blogs, so it makes no difference to me where I go to see your postings.
Thanks Tim! I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteCool. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures as well as your words. :)
ReplyDeleteI am all good with this. I think that was my recommendation when you posted that question some weeks ago. Smart move.
ReplyDeletefantastic photograph above (on your masthead...subway). Just showed it to my husband, also a photog, and he loves it. What strikes me besides your vanishing point and light dark values is that the foremost subjects are looking down. A happy coincidence?
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy photography....looking forward to those posts too. :)
You won't lose me.

ReplyDeletethanks everyone!
ReplyDeletemany people are looking down in the train stations because they are on their cell phones texting...
good idea, I think Ishould do the same.
ReplyDeleteOnward Ho! (not addressed to anyone specifically! LOL!) I love both blogs and you are talented at both writing & photography, so let's all head out on this leg of the journey - looks like you don't need to worry about losing anyone - who knows, might even pick up one or two!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea! I look forward to seeing your photography mixed in with your posts.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! This makes me feel better about doing it.
ReplyDeleteI had four at one time, now I have two.. and one of them goes neglected =^( Wish I could combine my last one (a toy blog), but it just wouldn't be a good fit. I think you'll do just fine with the new format!
ReplyDeleteDarrin - I can't imagine keeping up with all four. And I'm retired! That must have been a lot of work. Thanks for your input!
ReplyDeleteYou gotta do what you gotta do. I will still read.
ReplyDeleteYou are multi-talented sir! I followed your writing blog before the photo blog.... But they're both great!
