The entire country celebrates when the "Sakura" blossoms appear.
For those of you who have seen them, did you know that all the cheery trees around the national mall in Washington DC were a gift from Japan? They gave us over 3000 of them as a symbol of peace in the early 1900's. Kinda ironic, don't ya think?
