You are truly a kind soul, Mr. Pat. When I was a kid, I had a small rat kill my gopher snake because the snake was not hungry at the time, so did not try to kill the rat first! I was very upset, I had that snake for several years. But still, I took the rat and released him in a field somewhere because I couldn't just kill it...
You are the hero, Pat. Saved the rat. The story about the Whores and Ladies was too funny. Almost like you make it all up. Can't you just see that old actor Gregory Peck all dolled up and leaning into the engine compartment of an old convertible? And a blond bombshell sitting in the front seat in the rain?
You really can't tell the size of this guy but he was much bigger than a mouse and definitely not a rat......I'm so glad he was well enough to run away after he dried off!!! ;-)
This photo makes me think it was a gerbil. Maybe a neighbour lost their family pet? - G

ReplyDeletePoor little thing! Yay you!
ReplyDeleteVery humanitarian...even the rat deserves an even chance...unless they are latched onto your throat in some vise-like vampire death grip...
ReplyDeleteAwww..poor dear. I'm glad you saved him
