Kazuko Ikegami and Ask Me

There are two new buttons just below my header photo.

One of them is titled "Kazuko Ikegami." If you click that button it will take you to a page that contains the following words.  "After the war with Japan ended, Kazuko Ikegami was lured to America. This is her true story.
Under that statement is an "under construction" logo." I hope to remove that logo very soon.

The other button is titled "Ask Anything."
If you have something you want to ask me, please hit that button, it leads to a question box. I will pretty much answer any question on any subject.
If it's interesting, I'll post the question and answer.

  1. I just love your header photo, have a thing about ships AND trains! Still have my Grandfather's old Lionel set. Looking for the perfect display shelf.

  2. Panicing, can't get to the site, even clicked on the Under Construction

  3. So, my question has to be interesting? Hummm...that really limits a person like me.

  4. Kazuko Ikegami... a mystery.
    I can't wait. :)

  5. It is a cool looking construction sign. I'll come back and give it a read.

  6. Entre Nous - Thanks! That train is probably worth some money to a collector. Don't panic, there is nothing to link to yet. I'll be trying to arrange the story into short stories (later to be chapters I hope) and the links will all be there.

    BB - Oh yeah, right!

RA - Not too mysteious, but very interesting (at least to me!)

Jesse - You won't have to come looking cause I'm going to chop it up into short stories. I promise they will be short...

  7. The Kazuko Ikegami story intrigues me. I can't wait to learn more.

  8. I think the guy in the logo looks like you, Pat!

  9. Sadako - I hope to start it very soon.

Joe - Thanks Joe! Except, I'm a little pinker...

  10. Pat your site gets more intriguing all the time. I am looking forward to your new stuff. I like the ask anything page, very cool idea.

  11. I'm looking forward to the new story. Maybe I've missed something somewhere but I don't know who Kazuko Ikegami is. I'm guessing your wife's mother or aunt.

  12. As always Pat you keep your blog so creative and interesting. Thank you!!

  13. The story is really interesting.

    Thank you.

  14. Chuck - Thanks so much! We'll see about ask anything page. There's 2 questions there now, I've got to answer.

dot - She is my 83 year old mother-in-law. She's led a very interesting life.

DrSoosie - Thanks! I think I may have too many irons in the fire.

    ruma2008 - I hope it is.

  15. Can it be about basic training in the marines? My son wants to know if you ever felt like quitting?

  16. Love the idea of the question box! I might have to steal that idea! xoxo

  17. oooo I could have a lot of fun with that button.

  18. Your blog just keeps evolving.
Great ideas here, if I weren't
    so lazy........

  19. The Empress - Sure it can! Quitting wasn't an option for me. No where else to go...

These Nine Acres - Steal away! I stole the idea from someone else myself.

PTM - I'm sure you could!

faye - Thanks! It evolves because my brain is like a swarm of locust at times.

  20. Looking forward to the series.
