What an awesome picture, I love the silhouette effect . We have a hummingbird feeder outside our window that has often provided hours of entertainment, especially when several of them get into aerial "duels." They look like miniature attack helicopters equipped with lances, and I've watched as one chases and another retreats - backwards. Amazing creatures!
Lynne - Thanks so much! I almost didn't take it because of the light.
Kimberly - Thanks! I love them also.
Chuck - thanks Chuck! It really surprised me.
Warren - Me too! Except when they are in chrome and on somebody's mudflaps...
Neil - Thanks. We see the EXACT same thing out our kitchen window. Sometimes there are 5 or 6 dueling it out. At least one of them came out of a nest very close by earlier in the summer. There is more than enough things for them to eat around here, but they LOVE them feeders...
This is great!
