  1. This probably a good idea...parking garage for bicycles!

  2. Yup, they are short on space. This was behind an apartment building, in an alley. What struck me the most about it, was the absolute absence of litter of any kind.

  3. The use of black and white in these make for great drama...loving these!

  4. I loved that first photograph, the way the tree's branches cast a soft shadow over the building, it's really beautiful.

  5. Joan - thanks! I"m not sure why I'm so attracted to black and white, but I am!

Sam - thanks! it's an odd look, I agree

  6. B&W is a really crisp medium and you aren't distracted by various colors. I love color photography but my fav is B&W. These shots are too cool. Even before I read your comment I noticed there was no trash on the ground at all. Very cool.

  7. Love that first one and how the pavement is SO clean in the second one.

  8. The bicycle parking area is off an alley also. Still clean!

  11. I really like that photo of the bikes lined up. I have a photo somewhere of tables stacked up for winter at the beach - there's something about black and grouped items in black and white, I bet there's a term for it, but I love it whatever it is :)

  12. Love the bikes! They do this in London, too, outside train stations.

    Have a great weekend!
