Kind of makes you appreciate the fact we are not in the mess that the poor people in the Gulf are are suffering with! A beautiful photo which reminds me how lucky we really are to live in So Cal!
There you are, back at Huntington Beach again...my old stomping grounds. Ah, the fun I had there in the 70's and 80's...swimming, beach parties, cook-outs...
The colors did come out really well on this. It was taken early in the morning (you can tell my the shadow on the pier pilings. There that period of time that light is perfect, well this was it. There was supposed to be storm surf coming in and I was waiting for it. It never showed up...too bad!
LOL, no chair Faye, if there was, I'd have been sitting in it...
ABAO - I don't have an answer to that question. I do go there, and I do have photos of stuff there. I think I like HB better because of the pier and the surfing. When I used to surf, it was usually at HB, so maybe that's it. I do have a post coming up relating to some expierences with the "Laguna Brotherhood." I don't know if you remember them.
Gorgeous photo! I love the colours! - G

Glad it was a pier and not an oil rig!
ReplyDeleteMr Stupid - thanks! I agree, it's a great place to look at things...
