What a beautiful poem to go with such a serene picture. It reminds me of Yosemite for some reason. Sometimes we forget the true beauty and power of the nature that is all around us. Happy Father's Day Pat!
Copyboy - Thanks! I did in fact write it. I write alot them, but they usually don't find their way to my blog. I wonder if I'm the only one who spotted the typo... Well, actually my wife spotted it. It's fixed now. I hope it was one of those words that people's brains fix automatically.
Nancy - Thanks!
Joan - just like me...misty!
Bossy Betty - thanks so much!
Jhon - thanks Jhon, I appreciate it.

Here I am from Friday Follow. What a good find your blog is. I enjoyed my visit, the poems, pictures, thoughts: I'll definitely be back. Come visit Steadfast when you are out and about. Rosemary

To those of you from follow friday, fun follow friday, or any other kind of friday...Somebody is obviously playing a joke on me, because I didn't sign up for any of them. I do appreciate you coming here and I hope I can keep you interested. But I can't promise that I'll be able to "follow you back!" I'm just not that easy, and I think I'm just about maxed out on the 300 allowable followers. However if your blog is interesting to me, I'll make room for you. Please don't take this as an insult....

You're a poet too?! Is there no end to your talents? (The answer would be "Yes, there is no end.")
