I really need to finish importing the rest of the posts from my now defunct photography blog. Although there are some comments attached to them, most of you haven't seen the photos before.
Ohh, this sisters photo is beautiful on so many levels, the emotion, the back ground and of course the black and white, perfect in every way ! Will we eventually hear the story of how you got to this happy place in your life ?
wow...I missed the last couple of comments. sorry... my wife on the right and her sis on the left. I like this one a lot also. It's a perfect pic to me because it reflects our time at that place. We had such a good time.
At some point, I will get to my "current" life. It is indeed a happy one!
California Girl - This is in Pismo Beach, about a mile north of the pier. I don't know what happened to the cave, but I just put it back in the post...
What a wonderful pic! Pismo Beach is one of my favorites, and walking along the beach with my sister would be pure heaven. But it's usually with a daughter. That's cool, too. Great photo!
Is this your wife and her sister? What a wonderful pic. Makes me miss mine!
ReplyDeleteThat cave is awesome. Looks like the kind of thing all children want to go exploring.
ReplyDeleteyup, she is the one on the right...my absolute best friend, ever!
ReplyDeleteTS, you are so right! You know I went inside and looked around. Lot's of graffiti. Kind of a let down...
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the cave is cool, but yeah, the graffiti would be a downer.
ReplyDeleteA couple of lovely ladies there.

I enlarged the "sisters" portrait and it's charming. Looks like you caught them unaware. What pier and beach is this?
ReplyDeleteWhat "cave" are some of the commenters referring to? I'm mystified.
Beautiful photograph, the rolling waves in the background are really wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteThere's no mistaking the two lovely ladies are sisters! The background is pure poetry. :)

ReplyDeleteDang, they sure have some good lookin' genes! Cave is awesome, too!
ReplyDeleteI have no sisters, so I'll just pretend these are mine because they look like wonderful women!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures as always....
Awesome pictures! I love that cave one. My son would be running inside to look for bats.
ReplyDeleteMary - Thanks so much for commenting!
ReplyDeleteKarenG - I like it there also. Especially if you get away from the pier and sand dune areas. It's not crowded at all...
Ms A - They will be happy to hear that! Thanks!
Lynne H - Thanks for both statements!
Lisa - Thanks! I was so disappointed that the cave had some graffiti in it...It's everywhere I guess!
What a great shot of the two sisters
ReplyDeleteon the beach. More than frame worthy.

Great photos, Pat. I love the cave - it's so enticing the way you've captured it.
ReplyDeleteBetty - Thanks so much! I hope you had a good weekend also!
ReplyDeleteTalli - Thanks to you as well! I liked the cave also, for just a second though...yes, I have issues!
What a beautiful pic of your wife and her sister! A picture is really worth a thousand words.
ReplyDeleteMinoccio - thanks! They didn't even see me until after I took the photo.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures on which people are not posing are the best.
